New Issue: Barclays sells $768,000 leveraged market-linked notes on Dow

Columbus, Ohio, Aug. 9 – Barclays Bank plc priced $768,000 of 0% market-linked notes – leveraged upside participation and contingent downside – due Aug. 2, 2023 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.25 times any index gain.
If the index falls by up to 30%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to the index decline.
