Morgan Stanley to price buffered jump securities linked to the Dow

Morgantown, W.Va., Sept. 25 – Morgan Stanley Finance LLC plans to price 0% buffered jump securities due Sept. 30, 2022 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Morgan Stanley.

If the index return is positive or zero, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the index return and 22%. If the index declines by 15% or less, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 15%.

Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.

The notes will price Sept. 26.

The Cusip number is 61768CQD2.
