GS Finance plans to price 0% notes due 2025 linked to Dow Jones

Norfolk, Va., March 17 – GS Finance Corp. plans to price 0% notes due April 1, 2025 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

If the index return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a maximum return of 185% to 200%. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

If the index return is zero or negative, the payout will be par.

Goldman Sachs & Co. is the agent.

The notes will price on March 27 and settle on March 30.

The Cusip number is 40054KXX9.
