Morgan Stanley plans to price buffered jump securities linked to Dow

Tacoma, Wash., Aug. 4 – Morgan Stanley plans to price 0% buffered jump securities due Aug. 31, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the greater of the index return and the upside payment, which is expected to be 42% to 46% and will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index declines by 15% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that it declines beyond 15%.
Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC is the agent.
The notes will price Aug. 26 and settle Aug. 31.
The Cusip number is 61761JE54.
