Barclays plans five-year buffered Super Track notes linked to the Dow

New York, Feb. 5 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% buffered Super Track notes due Feb. 27, 2020 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to the buffer percentage and will lose 1% for each 1% decline beyond the buffer. The buffer percentage is expected to be 15% to 20% and will be set at pricing.

The notes (Cusip: 06741UQD9) will price on Feb. 24 and settle on Feb. 27.
