BNP Paribas plans buffered notes tied to Dow Jones industrial average

New York, Dec. 2 – BNP Paribas plans to price 0% buffered notes due Dec. 31, 2019 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a term sheet.

If the final index level is greater than or equal to the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index return.

Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 15% and will be exposed to any index decline beyond the 15% buffer.

The exact terms will be set at pricing.

The notes (Cusip: 05579T6P6) are expected to price on Dec. 26 and settle on Dec. 31.
