Barclays plans to price seven-year protected notes linked to the Dow

Madison, Wis., June 28 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% notes due July 30, 2020 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final index level is greater than the initial index level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the index gain, subject to a maximum return of 50%.

If the index falls, investors will receive par.

Barclays is the underwriter.

The notes (Cusip: 06741TXZ5) will price July 26 and settle July 31.
