Chicago, Feb. 1 - Royal Bank of Canada priced $1.24 million of 0% upside participation equity linked averaging notes due Feb. 4, 2020 linked to a basket of two funds and an index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The basket consists of the Dow Jones industrial average with a 60% weight, the SPDR S&P Midcap 400 ETF Trust with a 20% weight and the iShares Russell 2000 index fund with a 20% weight.
The payout at maturity will based on the performance of the basket from the initial level to the final average level.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 1.05 times any gain in the basket.
If the basket falls, the payout will be par.
