Goldman Sachs plans five-year equity index-linked notes on the Dow

San Diego, Aug. 31 - Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. plans to price 0% equity index-linked notes tied to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes are expected to mature five years after issue.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls.
The Cusip is 38143UC58.
Goldman Sachs & Co. is the underwriter.
