HSBC to price performance notes linked to Dow Jones Industrial Average

Tacoma, Wash., June 29 - HSBC USA Inc. plans to price 0% performance securities due July 31, 2017 linked to the Dow Jones Industrial Average, according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the index return, subject to a minimum payout of $950 and a maximum payout of $1,600 to $1,700 per $1,000 principal amount of notes. The exact cap will be set at pricing.

The notes (Cusip: 4042K1KG7) will price July 22 and settle July 29.
