New Issue: GS Finance sells $2.53 million index-linked notes on four indexes

Chicago, Nov. 12 – GS Finance Corp. priced $2.53 million of 0% index-linked notes due May 10, 2023 linked to the S&P 500 index, the Nasdaq-100 index, the Russell 2000 index and the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are guaranteed by Goldman Sachs Group, Inc.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the least-performing index’s return, capped at 25%, if each index finishes at or above its initial level.

If the least-performing index falls by up to 16.5% of its initial level, the payout will be par plus half the absolute value of its return.

If any index falls by more than 16.5%, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the least-performer beyond 16.5%.
