New Issue: Barclays prices $2.59 million phoenix autocallable notes on Dow, Russell, S&P

By William Gullotti

Buffalo, N.Y., Sept. 30 – Barclays Bank plc priced $2.59 million of phoenix autocallable notes due Sept. 25, 2024 linked to the least performing of the S&P 500 index, the Dow Jones industrial average and the Russell 2000 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will pay a contingent quarterly coupon at an annual rate of 6.6% if each index closes at or above its 70% coupon barrier on a related observation date.

The notes will be called at par plus the contingent coupon if each index closes at or above its initial level on any quarterly call observation date after one year.

If the notes are not called and each index finishes at or above its coupon barrier, the payout at maturity will be par plus the final coupon.

If the worst performer’s final level is below the coupon barrier but greater than or equal to its 60% final barrier, the payout at maturity will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline of the worst performer from its initial level.

Barclays is the agent.
