Barclays plans to price buffered SuperTrack notes linked to the Dow

By Taylor Fox

Chicago, July 8 – Barclays Bank plc plans to price 15% buffered SuperTrack notes due July 31, 2025 linked to the performance of the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index’s return is positive, the payout at maturity will be par plus the return of the index.

If the final index value has declined, but not more than the 15% buffer value, the investors will receive par.

If the final index value is less than the 85% buffer value, investors will be exposed to any losses in the index beyond the 15% buffer.

Barclays is the agent.

The notes will price on July 28 and settle on July 31.
