CIBC to price leveraged market-linked notes linked to the Dow

Olympia, Wash., May 18 – Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce plans to price 0% market-linked securities with leveraged upside participation and contingent downside due June 3, 2026 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 130% to 140% of any index gain.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up 35% and will lose 1% for every 1% decline in the index from its initial level if the index falls by more than 35%.
Wells Fargo Securities, LLC is the agent.
The notes will price on May 29.
The Cusip number is 13605WYH8.
