Barclays updates cap for buffered SuperTrack notes tied to the Dow

Los Angeles, May 6 – Barclays Bank plc amended the payout cap for its previously priced $8.27 million of 0% buffered SuperTrack notes due Oct. 7, 2021 linked to the Dow Jones industrial average, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The payout at maturity will be par plus any index gain, up to a maximum payout of par plus 18.125%. A previous 424B2 filing stated that the maximum return was 15%.
If the index falls by up to 15%, the payout will be par. Otherwise, investors will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 15%.
