Massachusetts defeases its series 2006, 2009, 2010A Dominion bonds

Minneapolis, June 27 - The Massachusetts Development Finance Agency defeased its series 2006 and 2009 solid waste disposal revenue bonds and 2010A recovery zone facility bonds issued for Dominion Energy Brayton Point, according multiple notices.

The agency defeased $47 million of its 5% 2006 bonds due Feb. 1, 2036, $50 million of 5.75% 2009 bonds due Dec. 1, 2042 and $159.5 million of 2.25% 2010A bonds due Dec. 1, 2041.

The 2006 bonds will be redeemed on Aug. 1, 2016, the 2009 bonds on May 1, 2019 and the 2010A bonds on Sept. 1, 2016.

The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
