District of Columbia calls $60.9 million American University bonds

Madison, Wis., Jan. 9 – The District of Columbia plans to redeem all of its series 2008 American University variable-rate demand refunding revenue bonds on Feb. 2, according to a notice.

The $60.9 million of bonds due Oct. 1, 2038 will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The redemption is conditioned on American University having sufficient funds to pay the redemption price.

Wells Fargo Bank, NA is the trustee.
