New Issue: District of Columbia sells $494.47 million of general obligation bonds

New York, Dec. 5 - The District of Columbia sold $494,465,000 of series 2013A general obligation bonds, according to a pricing sheet. The offering was upsized from $488.94 million.
The bonds (Aa2/AA-/AA-) were sold through BofA Merrill Lynch.
The bonds are due 2015 to 2030 with 2% to 5% coupons.
Proceeds will be used to finance portions of the district's capital improvement plan.
