Alabama Power to price offering of notes via four bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 24 – Alabama Power Co. plans to price series 2020A senior notes, according to a 424B5 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes feature a make-whole call and then a par call.

Barclays, Mizuho Securities USA Inc., PNC Capital Markets LLC and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc. are the bookrunners.

BBVA Securities Inc., Regions Securities LLC, Synovus Securities, Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Alabama Power is a Birmingham, Ala.-based power company.
