S&P: Deutsche Post stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised its outlook on Deutsche Post AG and related entities, including Deutsche Postbank AG, to stable from negative on the expectation of improved credit protection measures in the foreseeable future. The A/A-1 corporate credit ratings on DP and the A/A-1 counterparty credit ratings on Postbank were affirmed.

"The outlook revision on Deutsche Post reflects our expectation that the company will maintain credit protection measures that are consistent with an A long-term rating," said S&P credit analyst Martin Amann.

S&P said the outlook revision on Postbank reflects the equalization of the ratings and outlook on the bank with its majority owner Deutsche Post.
