New Issue: Deutsche Bank lowers alpha overlay notes linked to indexes to $910,000

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., June 30 - Deutsche Bank AG, London Branch changed the issue size of its 0% alpha overlay securities due July 31, 2012 to $910,000 from $991,000, according to a 424B3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes are linked to a basket holding the Deutsche Bank Liquid Commodity Index - Mean Reversion Total Return, the Deutsche Bank Commodity Harvest - 10 Index USD Total Return and the Deutsche Bank 3-Month T-Bill index.

As previously reported, the basket level on any day equals 100 plus the Liquid Commodity index return on that day plus the Commodity Harvest index return minus the T-Bill index return minus the adjustment factor, which is a flat 1% plus an additional 2% per year.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return, which could be positive or negative.

The notes will be called if the unadjusted basket level - the basket level before the application of the adjustment factor - falls below 40. Investors will receive par plus the basket return calculated on the day after the call is triggered.

Deutsche Bank Securities Inc. and Deutsche Bank Trust Co. Americas are the agents.
