S&P rates Detroit airport bonds A

Standard & Poor's said it assigned an A rating to Wayne County Airport Authority, Mich.'s $336.4 million series 2008 B-D senior-lien airport revenue refunding bonds issued for Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport. The outlook is stable.

Proceeds will be used to refund outstanding variable-rate senior-lien debt.

S&P also affirmed its A underlying rating on the authority's $2.1 billion in outstanding senior-lien bonds and its A- rating on the authority's $180 million junior-lien bonds outstanding.
