Delaware Investments names Matlack senior vice president, fixed income

Milwaukee, June 7 - Delaware Investments announced that it has hired two staff members in the fixed-income area and retail key accounts.

Paul Matlack rejoins Delaware as a senior vice president, U.S. fixed-income investment strategist. He worked at Delaware Investments from 1989 through 2000 as a senior portfolio manager and co-head of the high-yield fixed-income group.

Most recently, Matlack was a senior portfolio manager for fixed income at Chartwell Investment Partners. Prior to that, he was a senior portfolio manager at Turner Investment Partners.

Matlack will focus on the investment process and use his experience in fixed-income investing to augment market assessments and decision making. In addition, he will work with consultants, clients and prospects in the institutional and retail areas.

Rachel Jacobs joins Delaware Investments as a vice president responsible for building relationships and enhancing the understanding of Delaware's product solutions among key retail distribution partners, according to a company news release.

Delaware Investments, a member of Macquarie Group, is a diversified asset management firm based in Philadelphia.
