Barclays plans Buffered Super Track Digital Notes linked to Deere

New York, April 16 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price 0% Buffered Super Track Digital Notes due April 29, 2010 linked to the common stock of Deere & Co., according to an FWP filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the final price of Deere stock is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par plus 15.75%. Investors will receive par if the final share price declines by 20% or less from the initial price and will lose 1% for every 1% decline beyond 20%, with the payout in cash or shares.

The notes will price on April 27 and settle on April 30.
