S&P shifts DaVita view to stable

S&P said it revised DaVita Inc.’s outlook to stable from negative and affirmed the BB issuer rating.

“DaVita Inc. has demonstrated its ability to manage through various headwinds over the past few years and maintain its S&P Global Ratings-adjusted leverage at about 4x while continuing its aggressive share repurchase pace.

We also think the regulatory risks have become modestly less severe and the dialysis industry has been able to fend off multiple adverse legislative proposals,” S&P said in a press release.
