Davis Financial Fund's Charles Cavanaugh no longer portfolio manager

Minneapolis, Feb. 28 - Davis Series Inc. announced that effective March 2, Charles Cavanaugh will resign from Davis Selected Advisers, LP and will no longer serve as a portfolio manager of the Davis Financial Fund, according to a 497 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Kenneth Feinberg, vice president of Davis Selected Advisers-NY, will continue to serve as the fund's portfolio manager. He started with the company as a research analyst in December 1994, and has worked with the fund since May 1997.

The fund's adviser is Tucson-based Davis Selected Advisers. Davis Selected Advisers-NY, Inc. is the fund's subadviser.
