DaimlerChrysler Mexico to auction Ps. 434 million certificados bursatiles Wednesday

New York, Sept. 20 - DaimlerChrysler Mexico Holding, SA de CV said it plans to auction Ps. 434 million of short-term certificados bursatiles in three series on Wednesday.

The company will sell Ps. 324 million of 28-day certificados bursatiles that will settle on Thursday and mature on Oct. 20, Ps. 80 million of 91-day certificados bursatiles that will settle on Thursday and mature on Dec. 22 and Ps. 30 million of 357-day certificados bursatiles that will settle on Thursday and mature on Sept. 14, 2006.

DaimlerChrysler Mexico said the issuance is part of its Ps. 4 billion certificados bursatiles program.

Scotia Inverlat Casa de Bolsa, SA de CV will be auction agent for the sales.

The certificados bursatiles are rated mxA-1+ by Standard & Poor's and F1+(mex) by Fitch Mexico.

DaimlerChrysler Mexico is a sales division of Stuttgart, Germany, auto maker DaimlerChrysler.
