S&P upgrades Air Lease
S&P said it raised all of its ratings on Air Lease Corp., including the corporate credit rating, to BBB from BBB-.
The outlook is stable.
“We upgraded Air Lease Corp. to reflect the company's improving credit metrics, despite the incremental debt it has taken on to fund its aircraft purchases,” said S&P credit analyst Betsy Snyder in a news release. “While we expect that the company will continue to take on debt to fund its committed aircraft purchases, we believe that its earnings and cash flow will benefit from the growth of its aircraft fleet and provide it with stable to modestly improving credit metrics.”
