Moody's may drop Air Jamaica

Moody's Investors Service said it placed the debt ratings of Air Jamaica Ltd., B1 senior unsecured notes guaranteed by the Government of Jamaica, on review for possible downgrade.

The review coincides with Moody's action placing the ratings of the Government of Jamaica under review for downgrade on Nov. 4.

According to the agency, the review will assess the implications for Air Jamaica of any potential downgrade of the rating of the Government of Jamaica, as well as the ongoing support for Air Jamaica provided by the government.
