Czech National Bank ups two-week repo rate to 0.75%, Lombard to 1.5%

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 1 – Czech National Bank said its board decided on Thursday to raise the two-week repo rate by 25 basis points to 0.75% and the Lombard rate by 50 bps to 1.5%.

Meanwhile the board kept the discount rate of 0.05%.

The new rates take effect on Friday.

The board raised the two-week repo rate by 25 bps to 0.50% and the Lombard rate by 50 bps to 1% in November.

The board left all three rates unchanged when it met on Dec. 21.
