Moody’s assigns A2 to Cummins notes

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an A2 rating to Cummins Inc.’s new senior unsecured notes.

All other Cummins’ ratings, including the A2 unsecured rating, are unchanged, the agency said.

The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including repayment or redemption of existing indebtedness.

The outlook is stable.
