S&P upgrades Conrail
Standard & Poor's said it raised the corporate credit rating on Conrail Inc. to BBB+ from BBB.
The outlook is stable.
The action follows a similar rating action on CSX Corp., S&P said.
The upgrade reflects the company's strengthening credit measures and improved liquidity, the agency said.
