Cristalerias de Chile plans to issue domestic bonds up to UF 1.8 million

New York, June 3 - Cristalerias de Chile SA said it plans to issue non-secured bonds in an amount up to 1.8 million of Unidad de Fomento, which is Chile's currency adjusted for inflation.

The bonds will be issued in Chile and will bear a maturity up to 21 years.

The bonds will be payable in local currency.

Proceeds will be used to pay the company's short-term and long-term liabilities.

In addition, the company may use the proceeds to finance other investments or development of projects.

The prospective issuer, based in Santiago, Chile, is a producer of glass containers.
