CreXus plans equity private placement with Annaly Capital Management

Knoxville, Tenn., June 26 - CreXus Investment Corp. plans a $2.92 million private placement of stock on June 25, according to an S-11 filed Friday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company will sell 9.8% of its outstanding shares to Annaly Capital Management, Inc.
The New York-based company also plans an initial public offering of $500 million in shares.
