Credit Suisse plans buffered enhanced participation notes on S&P 500

Chicago, Jan. 4 - Credit Suisse AG, Nassau Branch plans to price 0% buffered enhanced participation equity securities linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will mature in 18 to 21 months after pricing.
The payout at maturity will be par plus 150% of any index gain, up to an underlying return cap of 16% to 20%.
Investors will receive par if the index falls by up to 10% and will lose 1.111111% for each 1% drop beyond 10%.
The exact terms will be set at pricing.
Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the agent.
The notes will price and settle in January.
The Cusip number is 22546TR52.
