Credit Suisse plans to price Bares due 2020 linked to S&P 500 index

Morgantown, W.Va., Oct. 19 – Credit Suisse AG, London Branch plans to price 0% Buffered Accelerated Return Equity Securities due Oct. 27, 2020 linked to the S&P 500 index, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

If the index finishes at or above the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par plus 133% of the index return. The exact upside participation rate will be set at pricing. Investors will receive par if the index falls by 20% or less and will lose 1% for every 1% that the index declines beyond 20%.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC is the underwriter.

The notes are expected to price Oct. 22 and settle Oct. 27.

The Cusip number is 22546VP34.
