Credit Suisse to price 0% ProNotes linked to global index basket

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, May 3 - Credit Suisse (USA), Inc. is planning to sell an issue of 0% ProNotes due Aug. 31, 2010 linked to a global index basket, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket will be made up of equal weights of the MSCI Singapore, MSCI Taiwan, Korea Stock Price 200 and FTSE/Xinhua 25 indexes.

The return will be dependent on the performance of the index basket during valuation dates to occur on June 24, 2010, July 24, 2010 and Aug. 24, 2010. If the final basket level is greater than the initial basket level, investors will share in the percentage gain. Investors will receive par if the basket level is less than or equal to the initial level.

Credit Suisse will be the underwriter.
