Credit Suisse to issue 0% ProNotes linked to Asian index basket

Seattle, Oct. 2 - Credit Suisse (USA), Inc. plans to price an issue of 0% ProNotes due Oct. 29, 2010 linked to a basket of Asian indexes, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket will include the Nikkei 225 index with a 40% weight and the MSCI Singapore Free, MSCI Taiwan, Korea Stock Price 200 and FTSE/Xinhua China 25 indexes, each with a 15% weight.

If the final basket level is greater than the initial basket level, the payout at maturity will be par plus the percentage gain, which will be multiplied by an additional percentage expected to be between 100% and 105%.

If the final basket level is less than or equal to the initial level, the payout at maturity will be par.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will be the underwriter.
