Credit Suisse plans issue of Digital Plus ProNotes linked to commodities basket

Des Moines, April 9 - Credit Suisse (USA), Inc. plans to sell 0% Digital Plus ProNotes due April 29, 2011 linked to a commodities basket, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The basket will include equal weights of aluminum, copper, nickel and zinc.

The notes will price and settle sometime in April.

The payout at maturity will be par plus the basket return if the basket increases by more than 45%. If the basket increases by less than 45%, the payout will be 145% of par.

If the basket declines, investors will receive par.

Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC will be the underwriter. FIS is the distributor.
