Covenant Retirement Communities, Colo., considers refunding offering

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, Jan. 29 – Covenant Retirement Communities, Inc. of Colorado said Thursday it is considering the issuance of refunding bonds.

The offering would refund the group’s series 2005 fixed-rate revenue bonds issued through the Colorado Health Facilities Authority.

In addition to the refunding, the group said it might use a direct placement bank financing to refund its series 1992 and 1995 debt.

The issuance and timing of the refunding sale are dependent upon market conditions and other factors.
