Cooper-Standard expects to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy Thursday

Pittsburgh, May 24 - Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. expects to emerge from Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Thursday, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As previously reported, the company's plan of reorganization was confirmed on May 12 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Cooper-Standard, a Novi, Mich., manufacturer and marketer of systems and components for the global automotive industry, filed for bankruptcy on Aug. 3, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-12743.
