S&P rates Constellation Brands notes BBB

S&P said it assigned its BBB issue-level rating to Constellation Brands Inc.'s planned senior unsecured notes with the final amounts and maturities to be determined.

“The BBB issuer credit rating, with a stable outlook, is unchanged,” S&P said in a statement.

The company intends to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including working capital, funding capital expenditures, repayment of debt, and other business opportunities.
