New Issue: Connecticut Housing sells $51.03 million variable-rate mortgage bonds

New York, Nov. 29 - The Connecticut Housing Finance Authority priced $51.03 million of series 2010F variable-rate housing mortgage finance program bonds, according to an official statement.

The sale included $35.91 million of series 2010F-1 bonds and $15.12 million of series 2010F-2 bonds.

The F-1 bonds are due Nov. 15, 2035, and the 2010F-2 bonds are due Nov. 15, 2030. Both bonds bear interest at the weekly rate.

The bonds (Aaa/VMIG1/AAA/A-1+/) were sold on a negotiated basis on Wednesday. The lead manager for the 2010F-1 bonds was J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, and the lead for the 2010F-2 bonds was Goldman Sachs & Co.

Proceeds will be used to fund mortgage loans.

Based in Rocky Hill, Conn., the authority provides affordable mortgage loans for low- to moderate-income Connecticut residents.
