Agricultural Bank of China lists $15 billion medium-term note program

Chicago, Jan. 17 – Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. listed a $15 billion medium-term note program (A1/A/A) in Hong Kong, according to an offering circular.

Notes may be issued under the program after Jan. 16 for 12 months, to professional investors.

Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. Hong Kong Branch, ABCI Capital Ltd. and Standard Chartered Bank are listed as arrangers.

BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Ltd., Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Credit Agricole CIB, DBS Bank Ltd., Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch, First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC, Goldman Sachs (Asia) LLC, HSBC Ltd., J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Merrill Lynch (Asia Pacific) Ltd., Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd. and Wells Fargo Securities International Ltd. are listed as dealers with the arrangers.

China Construction Bank (Asia) Corp. Ltd. will be the fiscal agent.

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer is the legal adviser to the issuer. King & Wood Mallesons and Linklaters are legal advisers for the arrangers and dealers.

Based in Beijing, the commercial bank has branches in mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore.
