New Issue: Agricultural Bank of China prices $1 billion of notes in two tranches due 2024, 2026

Buffalo, N.Y., June 17 – Agricultural Bank of China Ltd. has issued $1 billion of notes in two tranches due 2024 and 2026, according a notice on the Hong Kong exchange Thursday.

The company priced $500 million of 0.7% notes due 2024.

The company also priced a tranche of $500 million 1¼% notes due 2026.

Both tranches are listed under the bank’s $15 billion medium-term note program and are expected to be listed June 18.

Joint global coordinators and joint lead managers for the listings are Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., Hong Kong Branch, ABC International, Bank of China, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Bank of Communications, China Construction Bank (Asia), Citigroup, CLSA, Credit Agricole CIB, HSBC, Mizuho Securities and Standard Chartered Bank.

They are joined as joint lead managers by Agricultural Bank of China Ltd., Macao Branch, BNP Paribas, China Everbright Bank Hong Kong Branch, Chiyu Bank, CMBC Capital, CMB Wing Lung Bank Ltd., DBS Bank Ltd., Haitong International, ICBC International, ICBC (Asia), ICBC Singapore, Industrial Bank Co., Ltd., Hong Kong Branch, Nanyang Commercial Bank and Shanghai Pudong Development Bank Hong Kong Branch.

The issuer is a Beijing-based commercial lender.
