Moody’s assigns Agricultural Bank of China notes A1

Moody’s Investors Service said it assigned A1 ratings to the proposed U.S. dollar senior unsecured fixed-rate notes to be sold by Agricultural Bank of China Ltd.’s Singapore Branch under its $15 billion medium-term note program.

“The ratings on the proposed senior unsecured notes are in line with ABC’s long-term deposit rating. Any changes in ABC’s long-term deposit rating will lead to a similar rating action on the rating of its senior unsecured MTN program and senior unsecured notes,” the agency said in a press release.
