Comstock Resources to pay down bank debt with notes proceeds

New York, Oct. 5 - Comstock Resources Inc. plans on repaying borrowings under its credit facility using proceeds from a $200 million senior notes offering, according to a news release.

Remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Comstock is a Frisco, Texas-based independent energy company.
