Agricon settles $1.1 million oversubscribed private placement of stock

Company had previously raised $610,000 in earlier tranche on July 12

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 8 - Agricon Global Corp. said it completed a $500,000 additional tranche of an oversubscribed private placement of stock. The $1.1 million deal raised $610,000 on July 12.

In the first tranche, the company sold 1.22 million shares at $0.50 each, a 4% discount to the $0.52 closing share price on July 12. Agricon sold 1 million shares in the second tranche.

Lehi, Utah-based Agricon cultivates and harvests agricultural products such as maize, sunflower, soya and canola in Ghana, West Africa.
