Compton, Calif., plans $61.98 million water and sewer revenue bonds

New York, May 15 - Compton, Calif., plans to issue $61.98 million in series 2009 water and sewer revenue bonds in two separate tranches (/A/), according to a preliminary offering statement.

The issue will consist of a $43.495 million series 2009 water revenue bond and an $18.485 million series 2009 sewer revenue bond.

Grigsby & Associates Inc. will act as underwriter for the negotiated bonds.

Proceeds will be used to maintain and improve the city's sewer and water systems.
