Fitch rates AgriBank debt A+

Fitch Ratings said it assigned AA- long-term and F1+ short-term issuer default rating to AgriBank, FCB and an A+ rating to its $500 million of subordinated debt. The bank was also assigned a 1 support rating and an A- support floor.

The outlook is stable.

While the Farm Credit System - of which AgriBank is a member - is not guaranteed by the U.S. government, Fitch believes it is extremely likely that it would receive support if needed.

However, the agency said such support may not extend to obligations of any single district bank, a factor that is considered in AgriBank's rating.
